I would appreciate any more information you might have on this family. My
g.g.g. grandfather was also named William Treharne (born 1798) in
Llangendeirne, the William you found is not a direct descendent of my
William, since he and his children immigrated to the US in 1847, but it is
possible he is a nephew or cousin, as William is also the name of his
father.

There was a Treharne family - William aged 59, Anne aged 54 with sons
David
25, William 20 and John 16 - living at Pantyryn Llangendeirne. Could
this
family be the one you are interested in?
If so, I have further information from 1881 census.
