Hi Anna,
I haven't found any common ancestors yet but I am researching DAVIES/
THOMAS/ HENRY/ REES in Pontyberem, Llanarthne and Llanddausant so we will
probably bump into each other at some stage

Subject: [Cmn-L] Re: Davies family from Pencarreg
Hi there,
I have a marriage certificate for my paternal great grandparents:
John Davies, age 24 and Elizabeth Rees, age 25, both living in Felindre
Llangadock at the time of marriage, 10 March 1858. John was born in
Pencarreg and his father was David Davies, labourer.
I'm trying to trace back on John's side, so if anyone has access to the
1851
Census for Pencarreg could they please see if the family are there?
If anyone has the 1951 census could they please do the same for Elizabeth
Rees? Her father was John Rees a carpenter. She was from Llangadock and
I
believe her mother was Esther. I think her maiden name was Thomas,
the
same
as my married name! My grandfather, Morgan Elias also married a
Davies so
I've got a lot of common names in my family tree!
Thank you in advance for any help you can giv eme.
Anna
