Hello Pat
Thank you for your interest.
This is the information I know regarding Samuel Thomas and Frances David
Samuel Thomas from Llandissilio Shoemaker married Martha Howell in llanboidy
13.6.1821.On the 1841 census in llanboidy he was 45. He had one son William
age13. On 1861 census he was 69 and it states he came from Clyde
Pembroke.Another son John age 37 was living with him.On his death
certificate on 8.3.1869 in llanboidy it stated he was 78.
Frances David married Daniel John from Cilymaenllwyd in Llandissilio
28.12.1816. They had children Elizabeth B. 1824, Hannahh B.1830 Caleb B.
1832 Levi B. 1832 Owen B. 1834. They were all born in llandewi velfrey.They
were then all living in llanboidy by 1841. Frances died 21.8.1849 aged 55.
Unfortunately I am not really sure where she was born . It is just guesswork
If you are able to help in any way I will be very grateful. Most of my
mothers ancestors seem either to have been born in llanboidy or lived
there.and they are the ones that are giving me greatest trouble.
Regards Angela

Hello Angela
There is a Samuel Thomas , age 40 , Cooper in Cilgerran parish (whixh is
the right area) in the 1841 census.
Could he be the one you are looking for?
Don't you have any more information to go with these names?
What are the sources of the dates and places? Do you know of any wife,
children, grandchildren - anything that may be used to identify the most
likely possiblity?
I could probably help with the Llandissio one - but would need a bit
more to go on.
