Hi Margaret and George,
Noted your interest in MORGAN/Llandeilofawr.
My G-G-Grandparents were William and Rachel MORGAN (nee DAVIES). They raised their family
in Gelligaer, Glam. - but both gave their birthplace as Carmarthenshire in the 1871
census. Rachel was a widow at the time of the 1881 census; and in 1901 she gave her
birthplace as Llandeilo, Carms.
I haven't managed to find their marriage yet, and have no earlier information. A long
shot...but I wonder if there may be a link. Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards.
Chris.
