I have another lister who says it has always been the "Goodig". I had it in
back of my mind somewhere that it had a different name at one time, but
apparently not so.

I remember visiting the house long before it became a hotel - I lived just
across the road in Tan y Coed. As a child I just knew it as Mr. Rolfe's
house, but I think it may have been Goodig House. My father will probably
remember more about it so will have a chat with him and get back to you.

was a lovely place - what a ghastly blot on the landscape it is now.
