Hi all..
Just a quick e-mail to offer a bit of advice, as I have been reading quite a
few postings about viruses and such.
My husband is an IT Manager in London and suggests that all do the
following:
Firstly, it is imperative that everyone has a virus scanning program such as
Norton Anti-Virus and makes a point of doing live updates every 24 hours.
This, in itself, will offer protection to your systems if just a little
effort is taken on a daily basis.
Second, make it a point to check the Symantec web site daily for updates on
viruses, those viruses that are hoaxes, etc.
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/
http://security2.norton.com/
http://www.symantec.com
A little preventative maintenance can go a long way.
