Hi Jane
I am butting in now - I have a Septimus in my Harwood family - any idea
where this name originated??
Always thought it a strange name to give to anyone.....it did make him
easier to find though.
Hope all is well your side of the World......speak soon regards Pauline

Trevor, Just out of interest, my mother's youngest( 7th) brother
was
called
Septimus Glanville STEVENS, a grandson of David JOHN of
Carmarthenshire.
Perhaps
Glad has a meaning. Can anyone help?
Still looking forward to getting online in February for 1901.
Yours,
Jane
PS.
I thought the interesting and exciting letter from one cousin to another
was fun
to read. I have discovered two ' third cousins' through
research in
Somerset and
Monmouthshire. They are both Americans.
