Me again Andrea
I looked in Llandeilo fawr for a David Morgan - farmer....it only brought
the one up, the one that I gave to you today in Llwyneinon......I did check
the original, and yes, the age was 75......
Let me know what info you have on him perhaps I could look elsewhere.....

Pauline....
Where do you find all the time to respond to so many querries--so
quickly!!
Your help is greatly appreciated. As for GRIFFITHS family, yes,
these are
indeed mine. I would love to have baptisms.
As for the William Morgan - i don't think this one is ours. I've gone
back
into paperwork and found that his father was born about 1798. This
David
(head) is almost 20 years to old. Family stories have David coming from a
well off farm family near Carreg Cennen.
As for Elizabeth DAVIES and her family. I found that she actually had 3
sisters not 2. (1- went to Australia married but whether her married name
is
EAST or WEST has yet to be deciphered from the audio tapes i
inherited -
i'm
horrible at translating. lol) Well, The 2 that i do now know are Ann
age
11, and Margaret age 8.at the time of the 1851 census,. also born
Llandeilo.
as for her brothers John and Thomas E., i'm not sure.I have the
slight
suspicion that Thomas is the youngest and may not be around during this
census. there is the possibility that the family may be in Glamorgan, as
the
girls are all married and living in glam by 1881 with families of
their
own.
I hope this info helps. Thanks so much for your time, it's really
appreciated.
By the way, i'll be signing up for 2003-- hard to believe 2 years have
gone
by - should i inlcude my old number on membership form?
Regards,
Anrdrea
