Hello,Pauline,
I was interested to see this message.
Ann & James Mortimer are part of my family.Ann was the daughter of Daniel
Mortimer,druggist,and his wife,Eliza Wozencraft,who was my
gt-grandmother's
sister. She ran a school for young ladies in Carmarthen and her
sister,Ann,
took
over from her when she married.Ann eventually married Griffith Harries,a
grocer,
who lived in Water Street.
James was the son of James Mortimer, tanner, and his wife,Margaret
Wozencraft.
My gt-grandmother was Magdalene Wozencraft who married John Prosser.
There are memorial stones in the front wall of Water Street Chapel
recording
details of the families and I presume they are buried in the
chapelyard.
Thank you for sending the e-mail to the list.
If anyone has any queries or can help in producing further information I
would be
grateful.
Kind Regards,
Tom Morgan
