Hi R Betancur
The parishes of Penboyr and Llangeler are next to each other on the north
border of Carmarthenshire and Conwil Elved is immediately below them. If you
go to Carmarthenshire FHS home page there is a map you can download to see
where these parishes are.
Pentrecagal looks like a small village 1.5 miles east of Newcastle Emlyn
just inside the Carmarthenshire border and in the parish of Penboyr in the
1881 census. I am not sure whether this parish is still in existence.
In the 1881 census I could only find one Paradise villa in the whole of
Wales and that one was in Monmouthshire so you can forget that one. There
were many Paradise an in particular there was one in or immediately around
Pentrecagal. Although there were seven houses just saying that they were in
Pentrecagal an not giving house names the chance that they were named
Paradise Villa is small but not out of the question. I do not have access to
any other censuses to check this information. In 1881 none of the houses in
or around Pentrecagal had an Elizabeth Jones of the age you state.
Unless you can make a connection with Llwyconwil Isa then I should forget
about that one as there are several Elizabeth Jones's nearer to Pentrecagal.
There were two Elizabeth Jones aged four who were born in the parish of
Penboyr. These are the youngest I could find.

This is all I can find with the little data you have. To be more successful
you will need some extra information.

Hi Alvar:
I'm looking for Elizabeth Jones, dwelling: Paradise Villa, Pentrecagal,
Newcastle in Emlyn, Carmarthen. She could be 2 or 3 years old by the 1881
Census. I found one Elizabeth whose parents were John Jones and Jane
Jenkins,
born at Newcastle in Emlyn but your Elizabeth Jones in this message
could
also be the one I am looking for.
Are Conwil, Llwynconwil Isa, Llangeler and Penboyr near Pentrecagal?
Is there a Paradise Villa mentioned in the 1881 Census?
Can you have a look to the 1891 Census in this area too?
Thanks in advance
R Betancur
