Hello list,
Can somebody tell me if there is a burial record for Samuel Evans and wife
Elisabeth at Bethlehem Pwll near 1930/1940.
Also of his brother Daniel Evans and wife Margaret Evans. Both stonemasons.
Samuel Evans born 1869 and his brother Daniel one year earlier.
Elwyn - Netherlands.
For people with a first world war ancestor - and that must be most of us - you may be interested to know that the Wellcome institute recently released a huge library of images under a creative commons Attribution license.
This means that anyone can use these images in their famiy histories, websites, publications, as long as they provide an attribution to the Wellcome image library.
There are a lot of general pictures of the first world war - and other wars too, including battle of Trafalgar, Boxer rebellion, Boer War - which would be interestig for a famiy historian who has discovered a link to them.
You can find the Wellcome Image library here:

Hope this is helpful to someone!

Tracing ancestors or descendants of Rev John Roberts who was vicar of Talley from 1786 -1828 and incumbent of Taliaris Chapel until his death in 1841.He had a brother Benjamin and half-sister Mrs Mary Benjamin (a bit confusing!)
His daughter, Elizabeth Catherine, married Thomas Williams of Llangadog 15th June 1814. They had 3 children, Thomas Robert, Anna Maria and Elizabeth. The latter married a William Hannen and moved to Somerset, but left no issue. Is anyone related to the other two?
Would appreciate any info.
Geraldine Morris
