Hi All
I'm still around too (In the background), just keeping an eye on what
queries come through, but concentrating on my Dutch ancestors at the moment.

Hi Heather
strange but this one came to me on the members list.........nice to hear
from you again.
I only have Conwil Elved from 1813 onwards, the earlier registers are
shocking and many parts are missing.....so much so that the vicar who took
over from the previous one wrote about it in the register.....as you may
remember my Davies family are from Conwil Elved.......
Yes, the sun is shining and it is very very hot and sticky.......will
probably go for a walk along the prom later on though......
Hope all is well with you in Yorkshire....

Hi Pauline
I have been trying to resubscribe to the Carmarthenshire list so far without success. Can you subscribe me, please?
My research is back in Carmarthenshire now with my James family. I am searching for the baptism of a David & Dan James both from Convil Elvet Carmarthhenshire who both married ladies from Clydey in Pembrokeshire.
Clydey Parish Church
David James of Convil Elvet to Ann James on 20 November 1804, witnesses John James & Dan James.
Dan James to Elizabeth Phillips on 7 April 1806
Dan was buried at Clydey aged 70 years on 19 November 1846, this would make him born about 1775-6. I do not know when David James died but it was before the 1841 census. They were both carpenters and publicans.
Dan in Bwlch-y-Groes & David in Star village.
Could you check for their baptisms in Convil Elvet for me, please?
I expect the sun is shinning there it does nothing but rain in Yorkshire.
All the best
Heather
