Apologies but I included the wrong header on my previous email request.
The index's for Baptims, Marriages and burials of St Marys Catholic Church
Union Street, Carmarthen, SA31 3DE are held at the Carmarthen Records
office
in Parc Myrddin, Richmond Terrace, Carmarthen, SA31 1DS.
If anyone is visiting, would they check in the Baptism index for any
TINNUCHE names from 1850-1910. Many
This may seem a lot of searching but there would be few names in the index
which makes it easier
Many Thanks

Hello List,
Could someone please point me in the right direction? Where can I find a
marriage record of Mary JONES b. Llandefeilog 1847. Her parents were
Theophilus and Elizabeth JONES who lived in the hamlet of Idole. Thanks
for any help.
Regards,

Hullo List
I am now turning my research to Carmarthenshire and looking for information
on that very unusual surname JONES.
On the off chance that some one on the List may be researching the same
family below is the information that I have at present:
My GG Father John JONES (Father William JONES Labourer John's Wedding
Certificate) was according to Census information born in Llandybie about
1837.
John married a Ann JOHN born Abt 1837 in Swansea, ( father William JOHN
Copperman) in the Parish Church, Parish of Llangafelach, Swansea, Glamorgan,
Wales. After Banns on the 23 June 1860. John at that time was a Chemical
Worker.
Both parties were living in Morriston. Witnesses were Thomas JOHN and David
EDWARDS.
John and Ann lived in Aberdare and then Blaenllechau (after about 1876) in
the Rhondda until their deaths in October 1895 and June 1909 respectively.
Their children were Mary Jane,(1864,) Phillip (1866-November 1909), Thomas
(1869- September 1909), Sarah (1 November 1870), William (1872), Hannah
(1874), Joseph (1877), Margaret (1876) and Annie (1884-March 1905).
1909 was not a good year with mother and two sons passing away.
Thomas is my Grand Father.
I believe that there may have been another child called Thomas who was born
abt 1861.
That is where I am at at this time.
Thankyou for reading this far, as I obtain more information, I hope to be
able to address specific questions to the List.
Please have a look at our Web Site.

Hello Pauline,
I found a John Rees that died in the last Quarter of 1882 in Llandielo Fawr, could you please check the church records to see if he was buried there? I'm not sure if he is my gr grandfather, but I'm hoping so, at 77 he would have been born abt. 1805 so that would be about right.
Thank You,
Ron Rees
Hello List ,
I received an email from Ancestry, sent by Jackie Parkinson Winter, but they would not let me view it. I hope she sees this so she knows I did not receive the message.

Hello List,
I'm sorry to bother you again, but I have another question? My grgrandmother lost three children on June 5, 1844, One was 10 years old, one 4 years. and one about 8 months old. Does anyone know if there was a plague or something else around that time?
Thanks again for any help,
Ron Rees
Hello List,
I sent a request hoping someone would know something about Manchester House in Llandeilo Town, but I didn't hear anything so far. Maybe someone could please check the 1871 census for me to see if a William Allen is registered there with a clerk named Margaret Rees or Morgan Rees.
Thank You,
Ron Rees
Thankyou again Pauline
The only concrete evidence is that he was born in Cilycwm so iether of those
Thomas;s could be mine.
Sure all will be revealed if I am patient.

appears in Llandaff with his own family.
From another kind lister I have received info of 2 Thomas,s in Cilycwm at
about the right age but the problem is which one is mine.
Thanks again

Thank you Pauline for the information. He could have been non-conformist, I

Is there any way to check on non-conformist?

Hi Pauline, thanks for your reply.
I've already obtained the burial dates for all six Bonnells from the Pembrey
Parish Historical Society's website.
I was looking for the MI's so I could get hold of the names of spouses etc.
How much work would you have to do in order to send through all 43 burial
records?. If it's a lot then please forget about it.
What is the range of your burial records?. PHS's only go from 1813 to 1837.
Do you have the birth/baptism and/or marriage records for Pembrey Parish?.
If so, what dates are we talking about?.
Thanks once again.
Regards
Richard
Richard
There are no monumental inscriptions for Pembrey church we have indexed the
burials but not recorded the headstones.......
There are 43 Bonnel/l's in Pembrey burial database, the ones you mentioned
are there excepting Margaret 1804....do you have this information
already......quite a few were from Llanelly and Felinfoel but buried in
Pembrey.
Do you have the information and their address at time of death?
Pauline
