Hi,
Could SKS help me find
.Date of death /burial for
David LEWIS , Farmer b Laugharne 1776
and wife
Martha b 1799 Lampeter?Velfry latter clear on 1851census
They had 5 children between 1825 and 1839.and lived at Millet Farm which I think is the same as Mylett Farm of today.
The only record of the family I can find, except for the 1851 census ,is
David Lewis appears to be Farming near St Clears in 1881 Bronwast Farm. No original family with him only his wife and their family.
Rachel is married and living in Glamorgan
William may have emigrated to America after his marriage and 3 ?children born in Wales.
If I can learn anything of the deaths of the parents it would really help.
Cheers,
Sue in LLantrisant.
Hi Pauline ,
Thank you for your help. Could you tell me the name of the church and
what denomination it was, and if it's possible to find out if John and Jane
were married there?
Thank you,
Ron

Hello Pauline, could you please check to see if Ann Rees, born December 20, 1845 in LLandeilo Fawr to John and Jane Rees was baptized there at the parish church.
Also there was a brother John born 1836, but I don't know the day or month.
Thank You,
Ron Rees
Pauline. Your response to David re; marriage records prior to 1837answered a
question for me as to how children were Christened in a church or chapel
other than one parents were married in. I have been attempting for eons to
determine county of birth for an ancestor. Not knowing the County cant use
christenings. What other documents, death, wills etc may have recorded County of
Birth ca.1800 for an individual residing in another county? Thanks Bill

Hello list - on scouring the Adulam registers just now I came across one who went to Australia. Does Elizabeth Williams released to Australia in 1862 mean anything to anyone?
Diana
Hello list,
Would anyone have any idea where Caswddi Weingwrdre and Penrhiwlas are in or near Llanelly?
I have three possible John Williams there.
thank you
Diana
A piece of land always not much
Erw wastad fawr
so a piece of land [which was(never)] much
I may presume too much that you have got "wastad"
and not "wasted"
I hope that helps.

Hello Dave
As I explained in my e-mail of Jan 21st I don't have access to the
Henllan records although I hope to look at them sometime when I manage
to get to the Record Office.
All I have seen are the transcription held on the IGI which very rarely
seem to have parents names.
I can see the David and Margaret Howell & family in the 1841 census.
As David is shown as Ag Lab - where does the David Howell , tailor fit
in?
Cheers
Pat

Hello List,
Can somebody find Erw Wasted Fawr in 1851 census, possibly Llanedy in
Llanelli-area.
Looking for John and Charlotte Roberts, possibly with one kid William.
Found one child John in 1830 (07-11), but think this child must have died
before 1841. William is in 1841 census as only child.
