Jeremiah Dunn b. 13 Oct 1745, m. 28 Feb 1769, Sarah DeCamp, b. 10 Nov

d. 24 Mar 1838. Jeremiah died 24 Oct 1779. Jeremiah was supposedly a
Captain in the New Jersey Express Riders and was wounded in the battle of
Monmouth, NJ on June 28, 1778. Jeremiah died while home on leave, possibly
recovering from his wounds. He may have also been in the Battle of Bunker
Hill and in a number of subsequent battles.
There is a Jeremiah Dunn listed in the DAR Patriot Index, but he doesn't seem
to be yours. Here is the listing:
DUNN, Jeremiah: b 1712 NJ d 1794 NJ m (1) Sarah Hull (2) Margaret
Carman Pvt NJ
Possibly the father of your Jeremiah?
Hope this is helpful.
