Now that the cluster boards are in place, it's much easier to post queries
and documents to the GenConnect boards. At least for me, since I can
get to the main Rootsweb page, and then it is all alphabetical. (URLs
never seem user friendly to me.) Its worthwhile as hey are indexed and
globally searchable in connection with many of the USGENWEB county boards.
The step-by-step procedure is:
Go to the main Rootsweb page, on the upper right hand side click on the
surnames box, click; choose the letter, click; choose the name, and you
will arrive at the cluster page; scroll to the bottom where you will see
the boards listed. Choose the board you wish, click; fill in your name;
your email address; the name, date and place you are querying; put the
surnames, one to a line, and then the details.
Putting the query on the County Boards also gives you a wider audience and
the same procedure is followed, except that from the Rootsweb Home Page
you click on the County Boards.
If you have any comments or corrections let me know.

Patricia
