Another reference that turns up in looking at old records is John Kirman
[now Carman] of Plymouth.
also seen as John Cannon.
There is nothing to connect him to John Carman of Roxbury records
--but--
SPECULATION:
What is little is known of him falls within age limits for his being the
same person.
Say he came on the second boat in 1621 at 21, left Plymouth in 1627,
transferring his land holdings to the Widow Billington -- either wandered
around New England and came back to settle in Roxbury.
or went back to England and tried his luck again with the
husbandmen, arriving again in 1631.
This would work out as follows for plus or minus 10 years
for accepted birth date of John-1

John Kirman of Plymouth may not be related, but records of
him (land purchase in Sandwich in 1640) turn up.
These are presented purely as speculation, since there are no facts about
his available to us at the present time.
