No one knuckle whipped or scorned David.
A review of the sequence of posts on the topic,
clearly revealed a reasonable question from the start.
It just took many repeated posts to communicate the
question before an answer was found. I take offense
at your accusation of kuckle busting and a few other
phrases. The question was plan and simple on the
first post. If it had been answered and not dodged
or misunderstood etc. the discussion would have ended
earlier.
And quite frankly, I am surprised that back and
forth discussion of a point of Carman Genealogy, the first
in a long time for this list, is also shunned by some.
<hmmm>.

I cant remember where, actually I can but I dont want to say so until it is
proven, but many a researcher out there has placed that John "Jersey Blue"
Carman in with Jehiel and
Nathaniel, as well as Daniel, and, mistakingly, my Thomas. Patricia didnt
make an "honest mistake", she simply provided information that has been
speculated about for years...only
she warns that one needs to verify their own information! I dont think she
made such a grave error that she should be publically knuckle-whipped and
scorned I consider the posts on
these lists as skeletons...then go and find out the real deal! I thank
Patricia and Dan and everyone else for the information that they have
provided on this list. How I choose to
use the information is of course, entirely up to me. I also vote to keep
the toggle "ON". I cant keep going back and forth to that GenConnect board
every time I think about it,
which is rarely, and the automatic notification is great! I wish all boards
had that feature. david

As Dan Carman pointed out, this John is not related connected to
Nathaniel
and Jehilah. I picked up information from the next pension request which
was about Nathaniel.
Would be interesting if anyone has any more information on either of these
branches they would like to post.
