This appears to be the same source that I saw. The actual connection
was not clear to me,
but apparently appeared in the actual pension itself, which I did not
see..

abstract below for birth day:
CARMAN, John J., R1705, NJ Line, sol lived at Woodbridge
in East Jersey at enl, appl 11 Sep 1832 Onondaga Cty NY
aged 80 a res of Pompey NY, sol was b 4 Oct 1751 at
Woodbridge in East Jersey & lived there until 1800 them
moved to Fishkill in Dutchess Cty NY for 3 or 4 yrs then
to Beekman in same Cty for 3 or 4 yrs then to Ulster Cty
NY for 7 or 8 yrs then to Pompey NY for 3 yrs then to
Cincinnatus in Cortland Cty NY until Feb 1832 he moved
back to Pompey
