Subject: Census records for the Carman or Carmon Family
Surname: CARMAN, HOGABONE, McCALL

In the early 1900 and before my great grand parents lived in Albany Conuty
in the towns of Berne, Jefferson, schohaire, west Berne, MIddleburgh, Fultonville,
Fulton, Westerlow and a number of other surrounding town in the areas of
Albany County, Schohaire County, Delware County.
I am trying to find census showing the parents, children, marriage information,
death information, birth dates, where buried, etc. Ida (McCall) Carman
had a father named William H McCall who was a Captain in the Civil war
and died in Galveston Texas in 1865. He was beleaved to have lived in New
York prior to the start of the civil war.
Joseph Carman - was a natrual born English and Irish. He moved to New York
from Nova Scotia, Canada and married a Sara Hogabone beleaved to have had
land in the New York City area or her family did.
George E Carman is the son of Joseph Carman and Sara (Hogabone) Carman.
Beleaved to have been born in Berne or Jefferson. he married Ida (McCall)
Carman. Ida McCall's birth place is unknown as is her birth date, marriage
date etc.
George and Ida Carman had a son named Joseph W. Carman (any brother or
other sons are unknown. Joseph William Carman married a Catherine Plue
or Plough (other spellings for first name Kathy, Katherine) he was born
in Berne and also owned farm land there.Catherine Plue had a sister Mary
Frances also registered as "Frances". There parents were Christopher Plue
and Charlotte Plue(see NY census for Middleburgh dated 28 June 1900. Charlotte's
madan name is unknown. Not much information on the Plue side as well. I
am trying to trace all this back as far as i can go in any and all direction
and wood like to get copies of any census, marriage, obits, church, cemetary,
and newspaper records I can to support a project for a family tree i am
putting together for my Aunt's and Uncle and others. One other thing my
farther William McCall Carman had a brother Paul Raymond Carman who died
in HI. He was married 3 times once in England in 1941 to a Wyn Macey and
had a son named Paul Raymond M!
acey. Would like to learn more about then.

Chad died in West Berne at home.
