Background: born 1755/56 in Augusta County, Virginia
Service: Lt., 1777, in 10th Regiment, VA Continental Line until 1783 in 6th
VA regiment
Life: Moved to Kentucky in 1782, and in spring 1796 moved to Ohio, settling
in Greene County. Elected as first sherriff of the county in 1803, re-elected
in 1804.
Death: Died in 1834, bur in the Pioneer Cem, Bellbrook, Sugarcreek Twp,
Greene Co, OH
