Subject: [Tri-Counties] FITZGERALD
What is PML?
PML notifies me of mentions of Carman in
RW mailing lists and genconnect boards. We are not permitted to forward
posts without permission. Although permission is almost always granted,
it is impractical for me to write, wait for a reply, possibly a couple of
day, find the original post and forward it. I try to put pertinent name,
date and location in the subject for easy browsing now or in the future.
How can I access the original post?
Posts can be accessed the next day in the Threaded or Chronoligcal
Archives at:
http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/
and in a few days in the Interactive Search Archives at
http://searches2.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl
Isearch indexes from the Digests and therefore takes a few days.
Both of these link from the main
Rootsweb.com page,
www.rootsweb.com,
and
from the cluster
page
http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/indx/FamAssoc.html
These addresses are correct as of 17 Feb 2001 -- the net is on the cutting
edge of technology, things change very rapidly -- so poke around a bit, in
your browser address slot,
go back to the next directory
(from the end, erase back to the slash) go to the main directory
(from the beginning, erase
after the first
slash) and try other directories, other search engines.
