Chris,
It was great to see you post your new e-mail address today. I have been trying to contact
you for over a year without success. I am still trying to connect Agness (Carman) Marker
to my grandfather's family. Do you have this?

You may remember that we discussed the possibility that Agnes(s) was the oldest child of
Emmer and Martha Carman. Emmer and his children were on page 211B of this same census.
Being only two pages away convinces me more than ever that Agnes(s) was Emmer's and
Martha's oldest child and that Nancy was a totally separate person.
Since our last correspondence in February 2000 I have made contact with many more
descendants of Emmer's and Martha's children -- two descended from Charles, two
from Alice and one from Jonas. I, of course, am a grandson of Samuel. Stephen was killed
in an accident at age 30 and never married. I do not know anything about Nancy except the
1880 Nodaway County, Missouri census listing. That leaves only Agnes(s). Below I will
include my information on this family group as it now stands. I can send you a more
detailed report including a third generation and many obituaries if you are interested.
Do you have any more information?
