Patricia,
I don't understand, but I thought the whole purpose of a public
mail list was to opening share information and contact data.
Why would we want to hide???
Anna

Anna,
Sorry having *terrible* technical troubles here.
Now the will not recognize my address!@#$%
This post brings up another problem. Should a personal post like
this be allowed in the list, or is it something that should be
addressed
personally, person to person?
As a listowner, I find these new questions come up all the time. This
particular question comes at a crucial time when the query boards have
become available to surname lists and I am trying to provide an
anonymous
alternative way for subscribers to post there if they do not want to
post
their email addresses. This is particularly true for new computer
users
who are somewhat reluctant to post their email addresses, and would
prefer
to have answers to the list.
Afraid this was long-winded, but dont like to make a announcement or
decision on such matters without some thought.
It is generous of you to offer to contact relatives to help Barbara.
Regards
Patricia Carman Tidmarsh
.
