In a newsgroup it was pointed out that there are two kinds of databases at
LDS which are searchable, and that while the Ancestral File is not sourced
and the author found it very inaccurate for early entries, the
IGI has two sources - submissions and extractions. The author said
that extractions are as close as most of us will get to the original
document, and one should look to see what the source is.
I did a check on Caleb-2 Carman and found 12 different entries, with all
possible permutations of place and date, even month, and only two alike.
I do not know exactly which source it was though.
