As I go through some of the material I have collected, it gets confusing.
I have the Colonial Marriage Bond for Aaron & Elizabeth Stevenson. Then
the Burlington County Marriages by H.Stanley Craig. As I look at the way
the records are printed on p.41, it might be that I assumed Jacob, James,
John, & Wm. were Aaron's sons. Reading over the material I have here this
morning, there is no specific proof for the parentage of these four fellas
Jacob is my husbands ancestor, if Aaron is not his father, then who is.
The material I have at hand does not state Jacob's parentage. I will write
some of the other people I have contacted about Aaron and also continue to
go through my file of hard copy material.
At the same time, I do not find anything listed for a marriage between
Aaron and a Rachel, nor a son named Wilson. Looks like my quest continues.
Any additional help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Joanne,
I have actually sighted of a number of probate records but
not
all.
Regarding the Aaron Carman noted today. He drew up his will on the 3rd
Day
of August 1775. He was very specific, "my only Child Wilson
Carman"
and at the time of his death, his son was still a minor. By the 4th day
of
September 1775, Aaron was listed as deceased so he probably died
within
the
month that he had made his will. I have little more that that on
Aaron.
I
do not have him placed currently with regards to lineage. You
mentioned
a
number of Children but I do not see how this could be the same
person.
What is your source for the children you have listed?
Regards, Dan
