Hi Norm,
I do not have anything to suggest Norm Ander's information was wrong. In
addition, the following is an excerpt from Cornelius' will: "Item I give and
bequeath to my daughter Marcy Corem one shilling sterling currency. Item and
bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Evans one shilling sterling currency." "I
will that my Executor equally divide the rest of my effects equally between
my four children namely, William Carmack, Mary Richards, John Carmack,
Catherine Richards, and in testimony here of I have set my hand and seal the
day and year above written."
Signed --- Cornelius Carmack
This mentions Mary Richards and Catherine Richards. Norm Anders data had
Marcy Corem known as Maria Corem Carmack and had her married to Matthew
Richards. I do not have any other source for this data, sorry. It is
interesting to read this Will extract though. Cornelius states in the first
and 2nd sentence "daughter" Marcy... and "daughter" Elizabeth. Yet in
the
3rd sentence states "my four children...William, Mary, John, and
Catherine...". Should we take that to mean the Marcy and Elizabeth to be
possibly step children? and the rest his children? I do not know.
Perhaps someone on the List may be able to add to this.
regards,
dale

Hello Dale,
Back last march, you sent a msg out to "Gary" giving a list of descendants
of Christopher Carmack, and noted that it was the way 'Norm Anders' had the
lineage.... I noted when i was filling in some blanks on Corny I's children
that that msg showed Maria married to a 'MATTHEW RICHARDS'; Catherine
married to 'DANIEL RICHRADS; and
Mary Elizabeth married to "STEPHEN RICHARDS... On the stuff i already had,
i showed those as Mary m. an 'Mr. (UNK) BOREN' ; Catherine m. to DANIEL
RICHARDS; and Maria m. to STEPHEN RICHARDS...do you know which is accurate?
Thanks,
Norm.
