Hello James,
I was looking at your email you sent recently with your 'line', and was
wondering why we haven't connected your John Carmack b.175l-1760 up with
Corny I of 1681?
I have a John Carmack 1751-1833 with a note that says:
From: "Families and History of Sullivan Co., TN, Vol One 1779-1992".
John, Jr. (1751-3 Apr 1833) served in the Revolution at the Battle of Point
Pleasant. He returned to take over his father's plantation. He and his
wife, Elizabeth (1768-1 Nov 1850), had ten children; Pleasant, Joseph,
Sarah C. Gray, Jane C. Thomas, Mary, Elizabeth, Margaret C. Carmack, John,
Thomas and Susanna C. Strite. They are buried in the family cemetary on
the Mumpower Place.
This is not your guy? But then, I don't show a son, William, here
either, so I guess that wouldn't be him, huh? Do you have more on
William, like siblings and children? Why don't you throw all your info out
here and let these Carmacks go to work on it?
Take care, have a nice day!
