I went to the McClung Library in Knoxville Sunday and i found the following
inforamtion in a book titled: Missouri Heartlands Counties Pulaski, Phelps ,
Laclede, Webster, Wright, Texas, Osage, Maries, Camden & Miller Family
Records Vol. 1 copyright 1991 (Don Vincent, 7305 142nd Ave E. #D, Sumner WA
98390-8210)
In this book he states that Lewis Carmack wife was Sarah Turpin Stuart she
was born 20 january 1799 in Mercer Co. Ky. her parents were Josiah &
Elizabeth Myers Turpin. they had two daughters Mary Ann, and Sarah Ann
Next, Lewis Carmack (312 Pulaski 60; Ozark Genealogy col 11-28-76) was b. 16
March 1806 (census says Mo), and d. 20 Dec. 1872 in Pulaski, MO. He is
buried at Carmack Cem, Pulski County. He married Rebacca ( ), b. 19 July
1808 and d. 1 Jan. 1858; same burial place. they had nine children: John,
Susan, Jesse, Charles, William, Lucy, elizabeth, Averilla, Miranda. Jesse
b. 1846 TN, m. Martha Decker

Pulaski Co, MO Protate REcords (compiler believes that Tennessee residency
of this Carmack group may have been Bledose County. See 1830 census; a Lewis
Carmack (200001-10001) onp281 is near one Priscilla Connor on p279. ONe
Samuel Grigsby at bottom of p281 matches man of same name found 207 Pulaski
40 & 192 Pulaski 50)
