Mark, Are you familiar with the large body of Carmack and Anders research
that is available in Frederick, MD done by Norm Anders? Norm has since
retired and lives in FL but his research is in the Library in Frederick
(several large binders). It states that John Anders (husband of Sarah b
1778 d ca 1834) was his 3rd gggrandfather. From what little I copied of
this material there is a land record (in my brief scanning of it at this
time) looks like in response to Paul Wolfe's Will he divided his property to
his children, etc. They specifically mention "John Carmack and his daughter
Sarah" (daughter of Paul Wolfe)...and later on mention that John and Sarah
had died by this time (7 sep 1831) and "their representatives which included
Paul Anders, Jacob Anders.... mentions Elizabeth (wife of John Barrick as
the children of Sarah Anders deceased who was one of the children of the
said John and Sarah Carmack deceased"....
Certainly this has many references to John Carmack and Sarah Wolfe and their
children Sarah Carmack married to John Anders.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Sarah Carmack & John Anders
Hi All
I'm new to the list and I hope someone out there can help me.
I'm descended from Jacob Anders, son Sarah Carmack and John Anders. I have
proof of most everything about these relationships except for John. Sarah's
mother, Sarah Wolfe Carmack, widow of John C. Carmack, died in 1825 and
named the children of Sarah Anders in her will, so I assume Sarah Carmack
Anders has already died by then. I've found no reference to John or to a
marriage between Sarah and John. Does anyone have the proof of John?
Obviously Sarah married an Anders, but who? and when?
