Now that we know names and dates it is obvious that Samuel B and Soloman are
unrelated.
We'll keep looking.

And

Hi Dale,
S. B. Carmack was Samuel B. Carmack. I have several sources
verifying
the birthdate of William Frank Carmack. # 1, his grave marker says
"1853-1919". (2) On his death certificate, he was 66 years old, this was
in
1919. (3) On the 1870 Gibson county, TN census, he is 17 years old.
Samuel B. Carmack born 1809 in N. C. His wife was Mary G. (?) born 1818/19
Their children:
Johnathan born 1841 in N. C.
Poinset born in 1843 in N. C.
John W. born 1846 in TN.
Willoughby born 1848 in TN.
William born 1857 in TN
Margaret born 1857 in TN
Mary A. born 1859 in TN.
William Frank Carmack married Demetra Avery about 1880. In June 1881,
their
first child was born, a son, Arthur Burtel Carmack. February, 1883,
their
second son was born, Samuel Vincent Carmack (my grandfather).
Any help on this line would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Marsha
