Orange CO, NC 1781 in company commanded by Capt Hall(?) in 10th
reg, continental establishment. AT front til Nov 1782 when discharged
in SC. Twice marriedhad several children by 1st wife: Levi, Betsy,
John (about 45 in 1848)
John Carmack SR married Mary....? before Jan 1, 1794. He was private
in Revolution and died June 1, 1844

Randolph County letter from Dickerson Carmack (found in Carmack Cousins)
Dickerson states that his grandfather was John Carmack who lived and
died in Guilford County. This John being the son of John Carmack of
Cravens County
N C; Dickerson also mentions his grandfather had two sons: John and
William
HELP HELP HELP does anyone out there agree or disagree with my
assumption
Also if John I is Revolutionary, does this make one eligible for DAR?
