No. 1223 CORMACK (CARMACK), Joseph & heirs of Polly Ann Cormack, dec, Polk
Co; b 1806, Overton Co, Tenn; SC 9 Apr 1846; m Polly Ann 9 Sept 1824,
Overton Co, Tenn, she d on c 27 Mar 1847 - leaving 7 children (six children
living on 25 Jan 1853). He m 2nd Sancie, Oct 1849, Polk Co, Ore. T.
Boundary dispute between Joseph Carmack & E. A. Thorp settled by
arbitrations. Arbitrators were Harrison Linville, Reason B. Hall, John W.
Griffith, James G. Foster, C. T. Davidson. Settlement agreed on 29 Aug
1854. John Davidson & Mr. Vanderpool, surveyor, aided in line location.
