I am not sure I can help here. My belief is that The John Carmack you have
listed below is really two different John's. Cornelius and Guien had a son
John who moved to VA, He had a son John who I think is the one you are
referencing and moved to NC. I do not have anything that shows that this
John then moved to Bledsoe CO, TN. I do not have ANY source material on My
John, b 1773. It was part of a package I received from another researcher.
I asked about sources for the entry but he had none.
My John b 1773 is the son of Cornelius, and brother to Jesse C. Carmack/Ann
Black. I guess we need to locate the sources used for your information
(Lloyd D Carmack). If we can't locate a census, land records, etc then we
cannot say they are the same person. I have several land records in Bledsoe
Co, but nothing linking him to NC and nothing indicating his children. I do
not know when he died.

Moved to Washington CO VA and then onto Bledsoe CO TN;
Guilford CO N C where he enlisted revolutionary war
At age 74 applied Revolutionary War Pension
Children:
Joseph, Plesant, Thomas Benton, Elizabeth, John JR, Levi
