Carmack's Lineage.
John Carmack, May 29, 1822, Gulford Co., NC, age 75 years, Rev. War (W.
3772) Pension, Nov. 22, 1845, Guilford CO., NC Mary Carmack widow age 71,
she swears she is the widow of John Carmack who died June 1, 1844.
Marriage record- Cravens, NC dated Jan. 31, 1789 between John Carmack &
Mary Daugherty, Elisha Beasley, Bondsman, This is what I was sent in
handwritting so some of the dates may be different. Another typewritten
copy, State of NC, Guilford CO, Township of Greensboro, 21 May 1852,
Declaration in order to be placed on pension under the act of 18 March
1818, John Carmack age 75, twice married, 7 children, Levi, Polly Betsy,
John (two children still born, one child died 5 days after birth), Levi
the oldest left for the West, Polly died, Betsy, Durham Co., John, 6
children by second wife, Lucretia, Nancy, Maria, Eaphrim, William - a11
years old in 1852, Polly. Craven Co. - Newbern, copy of bond- 18 Nov.
1845, application for marriage license 31 Jan. 1789, John Carmack, Mary
Daugherty. John Carmack born 1757, died 1 June 1844, married 1st. ??,
second Mary Daugherty born 1772 living 1866 age 94.
North Carolina, Cravens Co., Adminstration Bond, Rachel Carmack,
administratrix, with William Rogers, Benjamin Griffin, to Govenor Richard
Casell, 12 Dec. 1785 for fifty pounds, Mary Carmack deceased.
Elizabeth Lamb (Carmack) ??? we have search for several years but I do
not have anything on her.
