Hi Nancy--- Page 53 -- William Copeland, born Jul 12, 1783 in North
Carolina, married Margery Carmac in 1805 and spent a munber of years in
Overton Co. TN, before coming to Reynolds County in about 1846. His son,
Jacob, who was born Jamuary 28, 1822, was elected as justice of
the peace in
August of 1846. Jacob married Sarah Barry on Apt 5, 1846.
Margery is the only Carmac listed in the book. Mary L
