Leigh Ann,
Save your money. The book is so full of errors, it has outraged long time Carmack
researchers. It's sad, but the misinformation keeps popping up on the net and years
from now will still be misleading people.
There are some really good researchers on the Carmack List. Post your questions and let
them help you. Be sure when someone gives you information that they also give you the
source of that information so you can check it yourself. Tracing a line takes years.
There are no shortcuts. Don't waste your time following incorrect information. I
learned that by experience.

I have recently tied my Carmack family line to the above. We pick up on
page 130 of
Charles Peckham's book "The Carmack Family Genealogy" in the
Sixth Generation. Furney Kent and John Henry Aston follow in Alabama
beginning in 1837. I would like to share information with anyone having
Alabama information or questions.
