Here is a Carmack item I found on eBay that might be of interest:
Vintage Apothecary Jar, 12.5 in, Blown
Here's a very old and very nice classic apothecary jar. Hand blown with
worked neck, and ground stopper receptacle.
The stopper is also ground. It is ornate with a thumbprint motif, and was
formed in a 3-part mold with a recess on the inside for a lable. The label
is still there as you can see in the photo. It reads, Carmack's Drug Store,
Opposite Courthouse, Telephone No.6, Plattsburg, Mo. For this one, there is
no question about the origin!
Has a few bubbles in the glass, and it measures 12-1/2 inches tall by 4-3/8
inches in diameter. Look at photos; ask questions.
I won't tease you with a low starting bid and a hidden reserve. The required
opening bid is my reserve. ($68) Item is subject to prior sale in my shop
until a bid is placed.
