I saw the following on eBay regarding letters from Private Arthur Carmack during WWII. I
do not know what line he is in but maybe there are descendants out there that may want

A group of 25+ items from a Private Arthur Carmack, A rifleman with Company C of the 28t
Infantry Division. The letters are from the Middle of 1944 to early 1945. They are all
addressed to a Mrs. Catherine Papera in Pittsburgh PA. The lot is made up of 13 envelope
with their letters, 3 folded V mail forms with the letters, 11 Photo letter V mails with
envelopes and 1 one soldiers Christmas Card. A very interesting look into the life of a Gl
in Europe during the Second World War. All the letter with envelopes have censor markings
on the envelopes. There are a few with part of the date line reading Luxembourg. A nice
group for anyone interested in the Second World War. Buyer to pay shipping and handling of
$4.00 in the US by uninsured first class mail in a special hard cardboard mailer. Shipping
and handling outside the US will be $8.00 by uninsured airmail. Insurance and registered
mail are additional. Any material sent without insurance or registry are shipped at the
buyers !
