This site gives details of the Mill Springs Battlefield at
Nancy, Pulaski Co, KY and may be the source you are
looking for.

Isaac Carmack (s/o Levi 1791) was killed at Mill Springs
on 19 Jan 1862 and is listed in the Confederate casualties.
I was not able today to access the 25th TN Infantry link, but
I believe that Martin V. Carmack's name was printed on
that list. To which Carmack family is Martin V. connected?
Also a W. Carroll Carmack is on the casualty list. Who is he?
Thanks, Gail

Anyone have anything on the following:
CARMACK, Isaac, Co. I, 19th Inf. KIA at Mill Springs, KY.
CARMACK, Martin V., Co. B, 25th Inf., died Jan 1, 1862
I didn't note the source and now can't find it.
