I have lived in MS for the past 30 years and never heard of an area called
CARMACK. It must be south of where I live (Tupelo) near
Kosciusko......but I have never heard of it.........just thought this was
interesting.....

CARMACK - Garvis Wilson, 73, retired dairy farmer, died of respiratory
failure Monday at G.|V. Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center in
Jackson. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko
with burial in New Salem Cemetery in Attala County. He was a World War II
Navy veteran and a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Mr. Wilson, the
husband of Peggy Wilson, also leaves a daughter, Sharon James of Weir; two
sons, Billy Wilson of Carmack and Joe Wilson of Yuma, Ariz; his mother, Annie
Lee Smith, and a brother, Roy Wilson, both of Carmack, and three
grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to New Salem
Baptist Church Building Fund.
