Two of the Carmack DNA project participants matched so far and one is from
the Frederick Carmack (born Abt 1814) line and the other from Samuel B.
Carmack (born 1809) line. Both of these researchers cannot go back farther
than this. But we now know that Frederick and Samuel share a common
ancestor.
Looking back in my emails and data I show some undocumented relationships
for Frederick Carmack. The theory is that Frederick is the son of William
Carmack and Pency Kent. My (undocumented data) shows that William goes back
to Dennis Carmack (born abt 1678) who many people theorize to be the brother
to Cornelius (born 1681), son of Christopher (born Abt 1650). None of these
relationships between Corneilus, Dennis, and Christopher have been proven
though.
If we could prove Frederick is the son of William, and that William traces
back to Dennis, then we will be able to compare the DNA test results from
one of Frederick's descendants to the DNA test results of those from
Cornelius' descendants. If there is a match then we know that Dennis and
Cornelius are related. That would be a great find!
Does anyone have any data on Frederick, or William, etc? Thoughts?
Thanks,
dale
