Additonal information on Joseph Nolen Carmack, just talked to my Aunt, she
remembered that my grandfather, her father, who was living in Van Buren
County, went to Grundy County picked up Joseph Nolen body and took it back
to Overton County for burial.

Re: Overton County Roll Call Cemetery Book, by Gary Denton NORRIS:
CARMACK, Joseph M. "Joe"
10-??-1868 - 12-10-1931 s. of Wash, h. of Susan, b. of Mrs W.B. Danner
Was he the s/o Jesse Washington CARMACK and Lucy Almira NOLEN?
I have a file on a Joseph M. CARMACK and Susan E. MYERS, married
08-05-1897,
in Overton Co.
Identified children as listed in the 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930 Overton
Census
Records:
Benjamin F. b. May 1898
Calvin b. abt 1905
Jube b. abt 1909
Susan listed 4 children born and 4 living in the 1910 Overton Census
Carmack Cousins Newsletter, Volume 111, No. 1, Sept 1, 1984, lists a
Joseph
N. as a child of Jesse Washington CARMACK and Lucy Almira NOLEN
I'm presently listing Joseph M. and Susan as s/o Jesse and Lucy but now
not
sure this is correct. Can anyone on the list help me straighten this
family
out.
Thanks,
Jerald Brown
