Thanks Jeff, and please accept our sincere condolences. I believe Juanita
was your Aunt or Great Aunt? I remember her from some years ago when she
hosted a
"Carmack Reunion" at the old building museum there in Stephenville. As
you know, this is the compound where the Carmack Cabin, home of John Wesley
and Susanna (Carr) Carmack stands. The reunion participants assembled in
the old Church in the compound and they came from far and wide. Juanita
had some wonderful stories to tell.
Thank you again for the one and only known picture of Susanna (Carr)
Carmack that you sent to me. Maybe one day you will be able to go
through Juanita's old pictures and find more that you could share with us!

STEPHENVILLE - Juanita Martin, 78, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at Mulberry
Manor Nursing Home in Stephenville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at Stephenville
Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in
Stephenville. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. tonight, Feb. 27, 2005, at
Stephenville Funeral Home.
