Hi Karen,
You are always finding these nice little tidbits !!!
I also noticed on Ebay, an old photo of JANE GRAHAM CARMACK who was the
wife of JOHN B. CARMACK
the grandson of CORNELIUS CARMACK of 1759. (Cornelius was father of my
JOHN WESLEY CARMACK of
Stephenville, tX.

There is a book for sale on eBay called "We Sing Their Harvest
Songs: A
History of the First Methodist Church, Stephenville, TX" by C. Richard
King of Stephenville, TX (opening bid is $14.99, no bidders yet, auction
ends in 4 days), copyright c. 1980.
"There are accounts of Indian raids & the naming of early settlers,
including a brief biography on some, including John Wesley Carmack & his
wife Susan Carr Carmack; Henry Carr & wife, Elizabeth Sevine Carmack
Carr...These settlers observed the Lord's Day with services & organized
the first Methodist church in Erath County... These persons were the
charter members of the Stephenville church." 19 pages of B&W photos.
If anyone regularly searches eBay for "Carmack" I found a way to cut
down on the non-relevant items. Type in "carmack -chris -doom" in the
search box. This will eliminate entries for Chris Carmack of OC fame and
anything relating to the computer game "Doom" by John Carmack.
