Norm,
Sorry it wasn't your brother. But I should have known - you wouldn't have
let the photos out of your family!
Karen

Hi Karen, dear,
Thanks for thnking of me, but UNFORTUNATELY this would not be my brother,
Ira Jay Carmack. He was in the Army and stationed in North Africa and
Italy. I'm afraid I don't have an idea who this I.J. Carmack might
belong to.
Incidentally, my Ira Jay (Bud) Carmack passed away about this time last
year at age of 82.
I did have another brother in the Navy who was on a destroyer (USS HALFORD
DD480) during the Pacific battles, and may well have been right at or near
the time of these pictures. Don WM Carmack is also deceased.
3rd known relative in WWII era was a 3rd or 4th cousin who went down with
the Arizona at Pearl Harbor.
I do hope you all have a Happy New Year and a prosperous one. I
predicted last year, that we would connect back
to the British Isles during the year, but, alas, I was wrong again....dang
!!!!
Take care,
Norm Carmack
