Good Idea Pat! Being several years older than you, I have already
written a bio for my family. I have had a pretty interesting life.
My bedroom has no pictures, but my Hobby Room has a 16x20 picture of my
Great Great Grandfather Carpenter and a smaller picture of his wife.
They are two of my most prized possessions.
To those I owe replies, give me a little more time because night before
last I slipped on back porch ice and nearly broke my back.
Betty

I realize this is a serious list, but I was just thinking, while we are
searching the roots of our ancestors, hoping to find Lords, Counts, and
people of title, has it occurred to you that someday our descendants might be
searching for information about us? Therefore, I want to record all I can
about myself, make me look impressive, important. I think I'll talk about my
travels, places I've been--like Paris, Versailles, Athens, London, Frankfort,
etc. That should really get their attention! They don't have to know that
all of those places are within 10-50 miles of where I live--in KY.
I keep trying to convince myself that my gr'grandmother Carmack/Brooks
was related to Queen Victoria. After all, she kept a picture of Victoria
hanging on her bedroom wall. Now think about it---whose pictures do you have
in your bedroom--Friends, or Relatives?
Just a little food for thought! (all in good humor)
Pat
