Thomas Green Carmack was my grandfather, through my mother Flora Estella
Carmack, and I would love any information that you have on Ann Black and
Jesse Carmack. Wasn't Ann Black a Cree Indian?
Thanks, Judith Llewellyn Soper

Judy, I have a copy (of a copy) of the application made
to the Court of Claims 13 Aug 1907 by Tennessee Brown
which I assume is the one you are referring to. What can
I help with? --Gail

Gail, I am descended from Jesse Carmack and Ann Black through Thomas Green
Carmack. I would be most interested in the above application--as it may
shed
some light on whether Ann Black was a Cherokee. Actually, I would be
interested in anything you have on Jesse Carmack and Ann Black, if you are
willing to share it. Can you send it by email, or may I send you money for
copies and to send by post office? I would really appreciate your help.
