Louis,
Regarding Cornelius b 1681, there has been absolutely nothing proven
regarding his birthplace or birthdate. Lots of speculation, lots of
circumstantial evidence of his parents and siblings. For example the
following is pure speculation but seems to be the going areas being
considered and researched:
Descendants of Christopher Carmack
1 Christopher Carmack Born: Abt 1650 in ,,Scotland Died: in ,Cecil Co, MD
2 Dennis Carmack Born: Abt 1678 in ,Cecil/Kent Co, MD Died: Abt 1703
.... +Bridgett
2 Cornelius Carmack Born: 1681 in ,,Scotland Died: 04 November 1749 in
,Frederick Co, MD
.... +Guein Corem
2 Peter Carmack Born: Abt 1690 Died: 20 January 1759 in Salem Twp, Salem
Co, NJ
.... +Sarah Hall
2 Elizabeth Carmack Born: Abt 1705
.... +William Beatty Born: 1693 Died: Bef. 1757 in Frederick Co, MD
2 Margaret Carmack Born: Abt 1707 in Cecil Co, MD
.... +Jacob Young
I have not went down the Catherine & Daniel Richards line but I have the
following reference for Daniel Richards: Will made 1 May 1785, Proved 31 Oct
1787, Frederick Co, MD. I have not looked it up though to see what is
contained.
I'm afraid I do not have anything else by the way of source material
regarding any of your line.
It's interesting how the Richards line connects to the Carmack's.
Good luck and please let me know if you run across any proof on any this.

Hi, Dale:
Actually, I have two CARMACK lines.
1. Cornelius (1681), Catharine (m Daniel RICHARDS), John RICHARDS, Thomas
RICHARDS, William Presley RICHARDS, Helen Louise Richards (my mother)
2. Cornelius (1681), William, William Jr., Elizabeth (m Claudius DUVALL),
Anne
W. DUVALL (m Thomas RICHARDS), William Presley RICHARDS, Helen Louise
RICHARDS
(my mother)
What I am most interested in is some source references for the older CARMACK
generations. Like so many others, I was somewhat lax in writing down exactly
where my family data came from. I'm not certain how much of it is "proven"
and
what is merely "assumed."
