Rebecca M. CARMACK NEAL
Rebecca M., died June 16, 2000. She was born in Craig, OK November 6,
1914. Her parents were William A. Carmack and Hattie Smallwood Carmack.
She was graduated from the Hailieyville High School and completed
business school in Oklahoma City. She was office manager and bookkeeper
at General Machine Works in Oklahoma City for twenty-five years. Her
husband, Burl P. Neal an OTASCO manager died in 1994. Mrs. Neal was a
member of Capitol Hill Christian Church and a leader in the Christian
Women's Fellowship for many years. Mrs. Neal, who was always known as
"Becky", was a positive and loving person who was loved in return.
Carter Hospice in caring for Becky quickly learned of the love that
Becky continued to have for everyone even in her illness. We thank
hospice and the special caregivers for their care.
Mrs. Neal is survived by her sister, Della Ennis of Hartshorne, OK;
Elaine Schuster, to whom she was a second mother; her nephews, William
Lee Carmack and Joe Carmack; and her niece, Betty Billen, all of
Oklahoma City. Her deceased sisters and brothers are Jessie Pass, of
Wilson, OK, Alfred Carmack, Oklahoma City, and Annie and Earl Carmack
who died in their youth. Graveside services are Monday, June 19, 2000
at 2:0 pm at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Visitation is at Vondel Smith Mortuary South until 12 noon Monday.
